Alexandra Kapogianni-Beth


Alexandra Kapogianni Alexandra Kapogianni-Beth, art historian and sculptor, has started out sculpting and drawing over 20 years ago and has attended numerous art and sculpture courses in and out of Germany. In 2021 she also completed sculpting studies at Institut für Ausbildung in Bildender Kunst und Kunsttherapie (IBKK) in Bochum-Wattenscheid, West Germany, and teaches the art of sculpting.
The passion for exploring the human body, its beauty and fragility, characterizes the artist's work. In her art Alexandra seeks to capture the beauty of the body in its forms and movement, while showing the imperfection of human nature and vulnerability through fragmentary depiction or by deliberately disrupting the surface.
